InstantPlay Slide FAQ
Your most frequently asked questions
-
I have problems viewing videos and images. How can I fix it?
Below we leave you some indications for the correct creation and loading of images and videos.
- The image formats supported by instantPlay are JPG, PNG and GIF. The supported video format is MP4.
- We recommend making images and videos in Landscape 1920x1080 format or in Portrait 1080x1920 format if you use vertical monitors. This way you are sure that the content will fit perfectly to the aspect ratio of your screen.
- If you load images that respect different proportions than those indicated will never be deformed. They will fit the longer side.
-
What order does the content uploaded to Dropbox appear in?
instantPlay displays images and videos in alphabetical order. In addition, the Slider will display all images first and then all videos. We recommend renaming your content by preceding the name by a number, and we recommend that you do not use spaces in the file name. For example: 01_image, 02_image, 03_video etc. Each image is shown for 10 seconds. Each video plays for its entire duration.
-
Why do I only see some of the images I uploaded to Dropbox?
Verify that the image formats that are not displayed are JPG or PNG. Also, check that there are no spaces in their names. Then restart the player. If your instantPlay Slide is connected to the internet via WiFi also check the status of the connection.
-
I restarted instantPlay Slide and see my images stretched. What can I do?
In this case, just restart the player.
-
I cannot access the configuration page.
First of all check that there is active internet connection on your computer. If yes, then try restarting the player and on the player screen make sure to read the correct IP as shown in this screenshot. Click here to see the screenshot.

I have images uploaded to both the USB flash drive and Dropbox folder. Only images in the USB are displayed. How can I solve this?
We recommend using a single images source. Move the images on the USB stick into the Dropbox folder. Then go to the configuration page of your instantPlay Slide and click on the "DELETE ALL FILES" button. Then restart the player.
-
I uploaded the files to the Dropbox folder and restarted the player but the screen remains black.
First open the instantPlay Slide configuration page. Make sure that the folder name in the Shared folder field is correct. Please note that you cannot enter folders created by yourself in this field. The only one you can use is the one shared with you by our team and that as a name has the serial number of the instantPlay you purchased.

I have uploaded videos and images to the Dropbox folder but only the images are displayed on the monitor. Why?
This can happen for several reasons:
- video format is not compatible with instantPlay Slide. Remember that you only have to upload videos in MP4 format.
- video resolution is higher than 1920x1080px. instantPlay Slide does not support 4K video.
- if you are connected via WiFi, the connection may not be powerful enough to download the video or the video may be too heavy. We recommend that you use Miro Video Converter to convert to mp4 and compress your videos optimally.
-
Can I use a Dropbox folder I created to upload content to view on instantPlay Slide?
No. The only folder that can transmit your content to instantPlay Slide is the one shared by our team. In addition, the same folder can be viewed by multiple instantPlay Slide but one instantPlay cannot display several Dropbox folders.

I only uploaded images and videos to Dropbox but a pink screen with a thank you message and a QR code is also displayed on the monitor. How do I remove it?
Enter the configuration page and in the "USB Upload" section click on Delete all files.
