Let’s configure it<\/h1>\n

1. Open your PC browser and type http:\/\/instantplay.local<\/a> in the top bar<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

2. The first instantPlay Slide configuration page will appear. Here’s how to fill in the various parameters.<\/h3>\n

Set static IP<\/h3>\n<\/div>\nThis section allows you to choose whether to set a fixed IP with which to access the configuration page of the\ninstantPlay Slide. This IP will always remain the same whether you access via WiFi or Ethernet connection.\n
<\/div>\nIf you wish to use a static IP, activate the switch<\/strong> (1) and then fill in the fields\nbelow<\/strong> (2) with the required data.\n

<\/div>\nTo retrieve them, simply proceed as follows.\n
<\/div>\nIf you use Windows, open the start menu, type “cmd” and start the command prompt<\/strong>. Once the\ncommand prompt is open, type “ipconfig \/all”<\/strong> and press the Enter key. You will see a screen\nlike the one below where you will find IP (1)<\/strong>, Subnet Mask (2)<\/strong>,\nGateway (3)<\/strong>, DNS (4)<\/strong>.\n

<\/div>\nIf you use Mac, the fastest way to find your IP address is to open the menuNetwork Preferences<\/strong>\nand select the network you are using. Now click on the buttonAdvanced<\/strong>\u00a0, and then\nselect the TCP\/IP<\/strong>. Here you will find IP (1)<\/strong>, Subnet Mask\n(2)<\/strong>, Gateway (3)<\/strong>. To find DNS, just open the DNS tab<\/strong> and then\ncopy and paste the server address (4)<\/strong>.\n

<\/div>\nOnce you have filled in all the fields, click on Save.<\/strong>\n

WiFi<\/h3>\n<\/div>\nThis setting allows you to connect instantPlay Slide to your network by Wi-Fi.\n
<\/div>\nIf you leave it set to OFF<\/strong> you will continue to use a wired internet connection.\n
If you select ON<\/strong> you will see two fields to fill in:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\nNetwork name(SSID)<\/span>: enter the name of your Wi-Fi network. Make sure there are\nno spaces in the name.<\/strong>\n
Password<\/span>: enter your Wi-Fi network password.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\nIf you decide to use Wi-Fi, you can disconnect the Ethernet cable once setup is complete. The cable must remain\nconnected, or you would have to load your content using a USB flash drive.\n

Monitor orientation<\/h3>\n<\/div>\nThis feature allows you to rotate the contents to fit the screen on which they will be shown.\n\nIf you have a horizontal monitor, select 0\u00b0.\nIf your monitor is vertical (portrait), select 90\u00b0.\n

Display time of the image<\/h3>\n<\/div>\nIn this section you can decide how many seconds each image of the slider should be displayed. 10 seconds is the\ndefault time but you can enter whatever you want.\n

\"\"\n

Upload via File Manager<\/h3>\n<\/div>\nIn this section you can choose whether or not to enable uploading via File Manager. If you select\nOFF<\/strong> your content can only be loaded via USB stick. If you select ON<\/strong> you will\nhave to choose whether to use the Local or Cloud File Manager. To do this, simply move the switch to the option\nyou prefer.\n

<\/div>\nLet\u2019s see between the two modes what difference there is.\n
<\/div>\nLocal<\/strong> allows you to upload videos and images that you want to display on your instantPlay Slide\nlocally. Once you have uploaded the contents to the local File Manager, they will appear even without an\ninternet connection.\n
<\/div>\nFor the procedure for uploading content, please refer to the Upload contents section.<\/strong><\/a>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n
<\/div>\nCloud<\/strong> allows you to upload videos and images to your instantPlay Slide wherever you are. In\nthis case, however, the internet connection must always be present so that the player can update and upload new\ncontent that are added remotely.\n
<\/div>\nIf you enable Cloud, you will need to fill in the fields below in the following way before uploading content.\n
Cloud Media Shared Folder<\/span> (1): enter the serial number of the instant Play Slide\nyou purchased.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Cloud Media User<\/span> (2): the serial number of your instantPlay Slide: you will find it on the box.<\/div>\n
Cloud Media Password <\/span> (3): enter the password instantPlay20!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\nIf you want to change your password, once you are log in the File Manager, click on the username at the top right.\n
<\/div>\n
To load the contents just click on Access the File Manager.<\/strong><\/div>\nFor the procedure for uploading content, please refer to the Upload contents section.<\/strong><\/a>\n

Real-time Refresh<\/h3>\n<\/div>\nIf you activate the real-time update, every time the slider is played, the content is automatically updated. If\nyou leave it disabled, instantPlay Slide must be restarted in order to update the contents.\n
